BARGAIN BOOKS & RAINY DAY READS

24.5.14

I'm not sure what the weathers like in your part of the world. However, in London its raining 'cats and dogs'. I popped to shop to get a few bits and bobs so I can stay at home and relax over the weekend. I made it as far as two bookshops before giving up all hope and escaping the crowds. I love shopping just not at the same time that the entire country decides to do so.

Before escaping the drones of zombies all buying the same old high street fodder I managed to pop into my favourite types of shops. Books shops, stationary and food. That's all I need and I'm happy. Take one of those away and I is not a happy bunny and more than likely to throw myself into a puddle and remain there until removed!

I brought the above books because I wanted something a little different. You get bored of your own meals sometimes so I find it great to experiment and try new things. I'm not quite sure actually making sushi is something I would ever want to try. I like life too much and have a huge disliking of the food poisoning that would likely occur after such culinary experimentation.

The chick read was only 50p and I thought it would be nice to sit with my face in a book like people used to. I'll let you know how I get on with both the cooking and my chick book x

P.s Have you ever tried the pumpkin 9Bar? Please do try it and I dare to tell me you do not love it. I tend to eat crap way to often especially when out and about when I don't have time to stop and have a proper meal. After recommendations from a few people I decided to give one a try a few months back. What a game changer! As long as I know I have a 9Bar on me or I can get one close buy then I no longer buy the contents of a sweetie store. I've only tried the pumpkin and the chocolate coated one. However, I've been converted and my waistline is thanking me and looking forward to trying the other varieties. Have you tried a 9Bar or do you have any healthier eating ideas for on the go? Let me know below.
